Time to Accessorize
Congratulations, babe! You’ve said “yes” to your wedding gown - how exciting! Is it starting to feel real now? It’s probably setting in that in just a few months, you will be walking down the aisle, marrying your best friend and starting a new chapter in your love story - growing with your person!
Now that we’ve found your gown and you either have it or it’s been ordered - let’s doll up your day-of look!
Adding accessories to your wedding day style can help pull all of your details together. Accessories like jewelry, veils, hair pieces and sashes can tie in with your theme and your personality. You may be thinking, “but how?” and that’s where we come in! We are here to help style you from the day you find your gown until you walk down the aisle. Not a Something White bride? That’s wonderful too! We are happy to help accessorize all babes, regardless of where you found your gown [ although we do have some pretty awesome perks for our SW brides ].
Ready to round-out your wedding day look? Schedule an accessory appointment with us!
FOR BOHO BABES:
You have that unique twist to your gown and you’re wanting to carry that vibe throughout your entire look. If your gown is backless or showcases your back, we suggest considering adding a back necklace like this stunner of a Kendra Scott piece for the perfect touch of sparkle and to help draw even more attention to you. A floral-style hair piece like the Ti Adoro cuties below is the perfect option for those of us that just can’t decide whether we should updo or not. These pieces would work for most hairstyles and are flexible enough to mold into whatever style you chose!
FOR THE TRADITIONAL TAKE:
Don’t be followed - adding a veil to your wedding day look is not old-fashioned, but rather, timelessly beautiful! Whether you go for a cathedral length or fingertip length, a veil will truly make you feel like a bride and complete your wedding day look. Fun fact: The higher you place your veil in your hair, the more traditional it will look and the more likely it will be to give you added coverage by falling over your shoulders. Want a more modern look and to show off your shoulders? Wear your veil lower and you’ll be all set!
FOR THE MODERN MAVEN:
So you’re a fan of tradition but you like to add that modern twist to things? We so understand and totally get your vision. Try adding fun statement earrings for a touch of sparkle and to help draw everyone’s attention to your face and eyes. For this look, we typically advise against wearing a necklace as well as sometimes this can interfere with the detail on your gown and distract. Try leaving your décolletage bare! It will speak for itself.
